Stuff That Matters

Every child is important. I have three kids in our schools, and they all learn in different ways—some need extra help, and some need harder work. I used to be a foster parent, so I know how important it is to help every student feel welcome and supported. I want to make sure every student gets what they need to learn, grow, and be happy at school.

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). One of my areas of expertise is finance, and I have worked with big companies for over 20 years. I want to help our schools make smart choices about how we spend money. This means making sure we buy what we need, save for the future, and use our money to help students and teachers do their best. I will always look for ways to make our schools stronger without wasting money.

Families should always know what is happening in our schools. I attend school board meetings and listen to what parents and teachers say. I want to make sure families feel important and can openly share their ideas. I will work hard to keep everyone informed and make sure teachers, staff, families, and students’ voices are heard when decisions are made. I believe we are all on the same team and together we can be successful.
